KD Robichaux

The Blogger Diaries by KD Robichaux are not standalone novels and must be read in order. Read book 1, Wished for You, before reading Wish He Was You, or you won't meet Jason, the tall, dark, sexy, tatted-up bad boy, aka the book boyfriend of the series.

Description of Wished for You, Book 1
Kayla’s Chick Rant & Book Blog
Blog Post: 1/17/15 My name is Kayla and I’m a blogger who believes in fairy tales. Through the anonymity of my blog, along with my reviews of the steamy novels I like to read, I tell the stories of my own search for love. No matter how disastrous they turn out—and believe me, you will ask yourself ‘Did that really happen?’—I never gave up, knowing my soul mate was out there somewhere.
Turns out, he was an okay guy. Not ‘The One’, but still, a good enough guy to spend time with. But then, he introduced me to his best friend Jason, and my world tilted on its axis. The dark, tough, tatted-up guy, who was too broody for his own good, captivated me.
But he made it perfectly clear, I wasn’t his type.
IMPORTANT NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
The Blogger Diaries Trilogy is the true story of how I met, fell for, lost, and got a
second chance at love with my soul mate. The names of everyone EXCEPT me, Jason, my family, and my best friend have been changed to protect their identities. Full of youthful stupidity, leading to bad decisions and lots of angst, it is a real life story, where inevitably things are messy.
No one can look back at their late teens and early twenties and not think of moments that make them ask, What the hell was I thinking? Every second of this trilogy is true, exactly as it happened.
The first book, ‘Wished For You’, is a tale of finding ‘the one’ too early, and then having to let them go.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a true trilogy, meaning the first two books END ON CLIFFHANGERS. But if you take the journey with me, in the end, I promise you a happily ever after you will never forget.
I know I won’t.

Kayla’s Chick Rant & Book Blog
Blog Post 8/21/15Heartbroken and devastated, I moved back home to North Carolina after the man I loved more than anything told me he didn’t want me anymore.
After my disastrous dating history, I had finally found the one, my soul mate, and then he just threw me away like I meant nothing to him. So, what was I supposed to do now?
I did what any woman who had her heart ripped to shreds would do. I rebounded. And I rebounded hard.
My life spun and progressed at whirlwind speed as I tried desperately to fill the hole Jason had left inside me.
I had myself fooled for a while there, until the newness of everything wore off, until the whirlwind slowed to a grinding halt and I was forced to stop and realize exactly what I’d done. I suppose I could’ve trained myself to be content with Aiden, but all I did was…
Wish He Was You
This is book 2 in the Blogger Diaries Trilogy. It CANNOT be read as a standalone. Please read book 1, Wished for You, before beginning this continuation of the story.
Interview with KD by Angela Palamara
So we know that this is your story, but what got you to write a
book about it after all this time?
I always
wanted to be an author, ever since I snuck off with my mom’s Sandra Brown books
when I was twelve. I was on my path to becoming one, going to college and all
that, but then…Jason happened. You’ll actually read in this book why it took me
so long to fulfill my dream. But the short version: Kids. I had my babies, and
everything was put on hold, but then I busted ass and got it done!
Do you have a mentor that you turn to for help?
I have a
few, actually. I’m a full time editor for Hot Tree Editing and freelance. I
work with some pretty incredible authors, and I’m lucky enough to be close
friends with quite a few of them. Erin Noelle, JC Cliff, Aurora Rose Reynolds,
Danielle Jamie, and Belle Aurora are my go-to girls when I need some author
advice. They never hesitate to help me, and I love them for that, because
without them, none of this would’ve happened.
How did you feel writing your "sexy" scenes?
Especially ‘cause it’s you and your husband.
Those
were actually some of the easiest and most fun parts to write! I’m an open
book. I have no shame. The first love scene spilled out of me, and when I was
finished, I asked Erin, “Um…is a 5,000 word love scene too much?!” hahaha!
What is your favourite thing to do other than writing?
This is
going to sound lame, but I’m a Netflix binge-watcher. Right now, I am hooked on
documentaries hosted by Don Wildman. He’s my nerd-girl crush. And I’m diggin’
Teen Wolf. It reminds me of when I used to watch Buffy back in the day. Of
course I like to read, but that’s a duh. When I’m not writing, editing, or
reading, I’m hanging out with my daughters, so Netflix is my space-out time.
What is the best way for readers/fans to get in touch with you?
I have a
friend request page under my author name KD Robichaux. I accept everyone except
for creepy, middle-aged men from the Middle East. I have no idea why they keep
wanting to be my friend lol! Here are all my links if you’d like to stalk me!

When you started reading and blogging, it was before Facebook
was around. Do you think it’s better now with Facebook and better to
communicate with other authors, readers & bloggers?
Most
definitely. My blog was just a little AOL website back in the day, and there
was really no way to ‘pimp’ yourself. Facebook has made everything possible.
It’s where I found Lola Stark, who led me to my boss Becky, giving me my dream
job as an editor.
Do you still have your blog and are you still very active on
there?
Yes! I’m
blogger Kayla the Bibliophile. You can find me at https://www.facebook.com/kaylathebibliophile and

Tell us a little about yourself? Something more than is in
your Bio. Or tell us something that none of your fans would know.
In my
books, you pretty much get all access to what goes on inside this crazy head of
mine. Hmmm…I have quite the obsession with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. When
I was little, my dream job was to be her at Disney World. So, I guess I’ve
always had a thing for the Captive Romance genre. Hehe! Anything I spot that’s
Belle or Beauty and the Beast, I must have it. So I’m pretty much screwed this
Christmas when we go to Disney. That’s gonna be expensive.
Once you finish your series will you write other stories?
Yes! At
first, I didn’t think so. The thought of writing a book that is completely made
up scared the crap out of me. But the other night, an entire fictional
storyline popped into my head, and I can’t wait to write it after book 3 in my
Blogger Diaries Trilogy.
What is the strangest question you have been asked?
Honestly,
no question fazes me. I have an interview series on my blog called Dare to Tell
the Truth, and it consists of some pretty raunchy questions haha! The
strangest, I guess, would have to be changed to the most surprising. I had a
reader who wanted my address so she could send me something. I was nervous at
first, and I’m sure I need to eventually get a PO Box instead of handing out my
home address, but I was thrilled when I opened the gift she sent me. It was
very thoughtful, and it made me feel amazing that my book touched her enough to
want to send me something.

KD Robichaux wanted to be a romance author since the first time she picked up her mom’s Sandra Brown books at the ripe old age of twelve. She went to college to become a writer, but then married and had babies. Putting her dream job on hold to raise her family as a stay at home mom, who read entirely too much, she created a blog where she could keep her family and friends up-to-date on all the hottest reads. From there, by word of mouth, her blog took off and she began using her hard-earned degree as a Senior Editor for Hot Tree Editing. When her kids started school, and with the encouragement from her many author friends, she finally sat down and started working on her first series, The Blogger Diaries, her very own real life romance.
I would like to say Thank You to Kayla for taking time out of her busy schedule to do this interview with me. Was a lot of fun and hope that it brings some insight to fellow readers out there. Make sure you all one click this book, it's a great read, defiantly not one to miss.
