REVIEW: Well Built by Carly Phillips & Erika Wilde

Well Built
Author: Carly Phillips & Erika Wilde

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Stars: 4

This second chance romance was a real treat. Even though I read it pretty quickly, I found the story wasn't lacking substance and plot.

Ella Fisher has always obeyed her father, except when it came to her high school boyfriend, Kyle Coleman. Unfortunately, her father did not approve of Kyle and thought his daughter could do better. When the going gets tough, Kyle hits the road leaving their town and Ella behind.

Fast forward 10 years, Kyle finds himself in a bidding war for a storefront that his mother wants, but the store is next door to Ella's family's store and she wants it to expand the family store. When Ella loses the property, she confronts Kyle trying her best to hate him but, deep down, she still has feelings for the boy who left her a decade ago. Through a lot of misunderstandings, family rifts, and distance, Ella and Kyle try to reconnect and find love, but with the history they share, is their foundation well built?
